Contemporary House

Hill House is a spectacular modern property near the town of Wetherby in West Yorkshire. Working with our Client and the architects - initially from plan and prior on-site construction, interior architecture formed a significant part of our brief. Our involvement from the earliest stage of the process allowed us to implement design detail such as recessed ceilings, rebated curtain tracks and shadow lines that would’t have been possible should otherwise.

Polished plaster finishes decorate the curved walls to kitchen and staircase. Italian furniture and bespoke oversize sofas are complimented by original and commissioned artwork. We designed, specified and procured furnishings and materials throughout this house. Natural blue stone tiles and pebbles in the swimming pool are specified to connect with the outdoor hard landscaping as does the lighting in the pool, which is a continuation of the garden lighting design. The design and materials used bring outside-in and vice versa creating a strong visual connection from within the pool.
