GRAND Entrance Hall

The design of this entrance hallway is synonymous with and a contemporary reference to the lavish personal projects indicative of many remarkable Georgian Townhouses and Country Homes from this rich, opulent architectural period.

Tumbled Nero and Carrera marble floor in classic chequerboard design provides the foundation upon which this bold interior design unfolds. Walls, doors and architraves are painted in a rich, dark shade of cobalt blue. Wired glass pendant light fittings hang from the ceilings with in-floor up lights, table lamp and concealed lighting providing differing levels of ambiance. Geometric fabric wall covering decorates one alcove with bespoke oversized back lit mirror sitting above a marble topped credenza. A heavy, burnt orange velvet curtain on pole hang to the left of the door.

Mid point along the entrance hall is marked by a vaulted groin ceiling decorated in 23 carat gold leaf from which a spot light washes a commissioned piece of art “All That Glitters” below. Climbing two flights of stairs leads to the first floor and master bedroom with Georgian door and ornate surround in gold - unexpected and a surprise as you turn from the half landing, a flight of stairs below.
