Swimming pools are undeniably an exemplar of luxury and for some the ultimate status symbol. By nature they are special but to make a pool truly spectacular and a real lifestyle statement the surrounding environment, associated rooms and spaces - how they look, are lit and how they are furnished, is arguably more important than how big the pool is. Creating custom, luxurious spaces around a swimming pool that incorporate beautiful product and aesthetics and is functional is key to this success. This is what we do best.

SWIMMING POOL LEEDS

This stunning basement swimming pool, steam room and lounge bar near Leeds incorporating garden area with hot tub is testament to the design standard we strive to achieve. Involved from an early stage and working alongside the pool installer and architects, we were able to ensure each room and space reached its full aesthetic potential, one area leading seamlessly to the next, all centred around the drama of the pool. From conceptual to detailed design, (which includes lighting, frameless boxed glazing and lounge bar overlooking the pool, to the design and specification of the shower and steam room), we selected beautiful mosaic tile used in the pool and steam room to compliment the textured natural stone and metallic finishes specified elsewhere. Procuring fixtures and fittings, lighting and pool furniture, the whole concept is brought to life by concealed and in-floor lighting which extends outside to the hot tub area of the garden and is managed through Rako lighting controls allowing pre-set lighting scenes to be recalled to suit the ambience required.

SWIMMING POOL WETHERBY

This compact swimming pool with resistance current is indicative of our approach. The connection to the beautiful garden beyond which can be accessed directly from the pool is key to the success of this project. With materials in the garden used to clad both floor and walls and with connected lighting zones inside and out, the surface of the swimming pool is level with the floor draining like water in a stream across blue pebbles in front of the glazing as if out into the garden beyond - a take on the ever popular infinity pool.
